In Windows sometimes your device is paired via Bluetooth, but it doesn't work, no matter if you have installed the Magic Utilities or not.
Windows 10
In Windows 10 Settings > Devices make sure your device is listed in the Mouse, keyboard & pen section. If it's listed in the Other devices section it won't work.
Open Windows 10 Settings > Devices.
- Select your device.
- Remove your device from Other devices and wait a bit.
- (Restart your computer, optional)
- Turn the Bluetooth radio off.
- Turn the Bluetooth radio on again.
- Pair your device again.
- Double-check if it's now appearing in the Mouse, keyboard & pen section.
If the above doesn't work repeat these steps and restart your computer where mentioned.
Windows 11
In Windows 11 Settings > Bluetooth & devices > View more devices make sure your device is listed in the Input section. If it's listed in the Other devices section it won't work.
Open Windows 11 Settings > Bluetooth & devices.
- Select your device.
- Remove your device from Other devices and wait a bit.
- (Restart your computer, optional)
- Turn the Bluetooth radio off.
- Turn the Bluetooth radio on again.
- Pair your device again.
- Double-check if it's now appearing in the Input section.
If the above doesn't work repeat these steps and restart your computer where mentioned.
